Spending more than half the year camping, a power station becomes cargo you load and unload every night. So before capacity, I look at how it fits in the cargo area and how many cycles it lasts. A lithium iron phosphate battery rated for 6,000 cycles, claimed to last more than 10 years even charged daily, pays off more the more you load and unload. In the 1000Wh class, this is the one to buy now.

When is the 1000 New V3 out? Price and capacity
The Jackery Portable Power Station 1000 New V3 (JE-1000G) went on sale on Jul 24, 2026. It is JPY 109,800 incl. tax, with 1,024Wh capacity and a weight of about 10.6kg. Rated output is 1,500W, with a surge maximum of 3,000W.
The answer: it is the one for families who want to run an electric blanket or cooking appliances while camping. It comes in two colors, black and pearl white.
How I judged it
The first comparison was with the previous 1000 New (1,070Wh, 10.8kg). Capacity is down 46Wh, but the size is 314 × 201 × 234mm, and volume falls from about 18.1L to about 14.8L, about 18% smaller (my calculation). It is a box a size smaller in the cargo area.
What I weighed was capacity per kilogram. The V3 is about 96.6Wh (1,024 ÷ 10.6), a little under the previous model's 99.1Wh. I still recommend it because cycles rise to 6,000 and the price is JPY 10,000 lower. It claims to keep 70% of its capacity after 6,000 cycles.

Price per Wh is about JPY 107 (109,800 ÷ 1024) for the V3 and about JPY 112 for the previous model. Within the same 1000Wh class, the V3 stores electricity more cheaply.

What I like about the 1000 New V3
The best part is that the three outlets are split into two groups that you can switch on and off group by group. From the app or the button on the unit, you can cut power to appliances you are not using, so you can send what is left overnight to an electric blanket.
There are 7 outputs in all: 3 outlets, 2 USB-C (up to 100W), 1 USB-A and 1 car socket. It also supports pass-through, so you can run appliances while charging. Buy from the official site and a 2-year extension is added automatically to the 3-year warranty.
How many hours can it run while camping?
Some power is lost in conversion when sending electricity to appliances, so I use 80% of capacity, about 819Wh (1,024 × 0.8), as a guide to what is usable. A 50W electric blanket would run about 16 hours (819 ÷ 50), enough to last a winter night until morning.

Comparing with other 1000Wh power stations
The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, also 1,024Wh, weighs about 12.5kg, about 1.9kg more than the V3. The Anker × Snow Peak 1000 holds a bit more at 1,056Wh and weighs about 12.9kg. In camping, where you load and unload often, that 2kg gap becomes effort every time.

Who the 1000 New V3 suits
It suits people who want an electric blanket on winter days when they cannot get a site with power, and families who want to bring a rice cooker or kettle. It runs appliances up to 1,500W, and the 6,000-cycle life lasts a long time as a home blackout backup too. If you only charge lanterns and phones, you can start from a smaller 500Wh class. Things to watch
Blackout switchover is within 0.01 seconds, but it is not an uninterruptible power supply that switches in 0ms. Jackery warns against connecting equipment such as servers that cannot tolerate even a momentary stop.
