Is buying the set really the better deal? This is for you if you are unsure. The UNIFLAME Fire Grill, Fluorine Plate and Storage Case Set (No.769744) is a limited-quantity item out Oct 31, 2026. It costs JPY 12,650 including tax, JPY 3,410 less than the JPY 16,060 you'd pay for the three pieces separately. You get the Fire Grill fire pit, a plate to cook on, and a case to carry them.
The Gear Nerd's Pick
Spend more than half the year camping and a fire pit becomes the kitchen every night, not just a place for a fire. So I judge a fire pit by the price of the whole kit with plate and case, not the body alone. This set is JPY 3,410 (about 21%) cheaper than the three singles combined. It's limited, so if you want it, be there on release day.
Key points
- Out Oct 31, 2026, JPY 12,650 incl. tax. JPY 3,410 less than the JPY 16,060 total of 3 separate items (about 21% off)
- Contains the Fire Grill (about 2.7 kg), fluorine-coated plate (about 1.9 kg) and storage case. About 43 x 43 x 33 cm in use, about 7 cm thick folded
- A reissue of the set released in Sep 2025. It was JPY 10,780 then and is JPY 1,870 more now

[Out 2026/10/31]UNIFLAME Fire Grill Set Review | JPY 12,650, JPY 3,410 cheaper than singles
My experience: I bought the grill, plate and case separately; the set I only looked at in a store
I bought the Fire Grill in 2023 and have used it about 10 times. The latest was in November 2025, one night with a friend at Fumotoppara. It was clear and 6°C. When we had a campfire for about 2 hours, 35 cm logs fit with room to spare, and meat cooked on the fluorine-coated griddle hardly burned, which helped. I have used the fluorine-coated griddle on about 5 of those occasions.
Assembly takes about 1 minute and clean-up about 5 minutes. I burned about 8 logs of 35cm, the ash took about 4 minutes to deal with, and the grill weighs about 2.7kg and the plate about 1.5kg. My trouble was on a grass site, where the grass at the legs got a little scorched. I cooled it with a wet towel and switched to a larger fire sheet. On grass, a larger sheet is a must. I use the storage case every time I load the car.
Compared with a friend's Coleman Fire Disc, the grill spreads fire more evenly and the disc is lighter. I wavered over whether I needed the plate, and what decided it was the range of ways I can use it to grill meat. I would pick the same one again. I only looked at the three-piece set in a store, and I bought the items separately. I paid about JPY 7,900 for the grill, about JPY 5,000 for the plate and about JPY 4,000 for the case, about JPY 16,900 in total. Against the set at JPY 12,650, the difference is about JPY 4,250. My rule for choosing is whether you will use the plate. In short, buy the set if you will use the plate, and the single grill is enough if you only build fires.

UNIFLAME Fire Grill Set review: how I judged it
The first thing I checked was the total of the three singles: Fire Grill JPY 7,920, plate JPY 5,500, case JPY 2,640, which adds up to JPY 16,060. The set at JPY 12,650 is JPY 3,410 cheaper, about 21% (3,410 / 16,060).
Next I thought about where the plate fits. At 1.9 kg it is about 0.7 times the 2.7 kg body, so it isn't light. Still, once you can cook meat and vegetables on a plate and not just grill over the net after the fire, one setup covers dinner too.
What gave me pause was the higher price of the reissue. I still recommend it. It remains cheaper than buying the pieces separately, and getting all three pieces at once is the shortest route.

Body and plate together weigh about 4.6 kg (2.7 + 1.9). Folded, the body is about 7 cm thick and the plate about 2 cm, so stacked they come to about 9 cm and should fit the case, which is about 10 cm thick.
The firebox and grate are stainless steel, and the stand and cooking net are chrome-plated iron. The plate is iron with a fluorine resin coating, and the case is 420D polyester. For how it compares by weight with other fire pits, see weight and size of 12 fire pits.

How does it differ from last year's set?
The set released in Sep 2025 has the same 3 pieces. The difference is the price: JPY 10,780 then, JPY 12,650 now. That's JPY 1,870 more (12,650 - 10,780).
Still, against the total of single prices on UNIFLAME's own site in Oct, JPY 16,060, it is JPY 3,410 cheaper. It looks expensive if you remember last year's price, and cheap if you're buying the singles now.
What I like
The good part is that you can build a fire and cook from the day you buy it. Buy only the fire pit and you'd look for a plate and a case separately later. All three are genuine UNIFLAME pieces, so you won't buy ones that don't fit.
The case helps too. A fire pit and plate dirty with soot go into the car as they are. Folded, it is only about 7 cm thick and takes little space when loading.
Things to watch
It is limited in number, and the number isn't published. Some shops don't carry it, so it helps to decide where you'll buy early.
Body and plate weigh about 4.6 kg. This is a kit for driving to the site, not for carrying on foot. If you put weight first, you can add the plate later.
The fluorine resin on the plate assumes you use it as the maker instructs, for example not scraping hard with a metal spatula.
Who is it for?
It suits best someone buying a fire pit for the first time, or someone with no Fire Grill who also wants to cook. If you drive into the site, 4.6 kg won't bother you.
Used 20 times a year, it's JPY 633 per use (12,650 / 20). If you like gathering around the fire on windy nights, you can pair it with UNIFLAME's Bonfire Wind Screen. If you prefer a low fire near the ground, the Fire Rail is another option.
If you can't decide, a first-time fire pit buyer should take this set. The reason: the 3 pieces cost JPY 3,410 less than the singles.
Price and how to buy
The price is JPY 12,650 (tax included) as shown on UNIFLAME's site on Oct 28, 2026. It goes on sale on Oct 31, and until then the button below stays gray.
When the release day comes, the button turns into one you can press. Against last year's JPY 10,780 it is high, and against today's JPY 16,060 for the singles it is low. I suggest deciding by using today's single prices as your yardstick.
