The SOTO Kacom Base Stand (ST-3110) is a stand for the Regulator Stove ST-310 and Range ST-340, on general sale since May 1, 2026. It's my pick for people who want to use heavy pots on the single burner they already own. The clinchers are a 10kg load capacity and a heat shield that keeps heat off the table. JPY 4,400 incl. tax, 830g in total.

The Gear Nerd's Pick

The 5mm stainless legs lock in place so they don't collapse, and the stove's pot supports sit in the middle of the heat shield. Because the legs take the weight, you can put on pots that exceed the ST-310's own 5kg limit. So I don't see this stand as a stove accessory; I choose it as the part that upgrades an ST-310 into a base that can take the family's pots.

Key points

  • Load capacity is 10kg: double the ST-310's own 5kg, enough for a 10-inch stainless Dutch oven almost full of water
  • With the ST-310: 1,160g (330+830) and JPY 11,880 (7,480+4,400)
  • Packed: 217 wide × 225 deep × 38mm high. The folded stand sits on the heat shield as one flat piece

When was the Kacom Base Stand released? What's the price?

The SOTO Kacom Base Stand (ST-3110) went on general sale on May 1, 2026. It's JPY 4,400 incl. tax, the base part of the Kacom series.

It weighs 830g in total, 560g for the stand and 270g for the heat shield, both stainless steel. It's used with the Regulator Stove ST-310 and Range ST-340.

How I judged it

The first thing I looked at was load capacity: 5kg for the ST-310 alone, 10kg with the stand. Exactly double.

The 830g weight is where I hesitated. You're adding a part 2.5 times heavier than the ST-310's 330g body. I still recommend it because the headroom to hold a 10-inch stainless Dutch oven almost full, and a heat shield that protects the table, come together in one piece.

Footprint goes from about 236cm² for the ST-310 (16.6×14.2) to about 574cm² for the stand (25.5×22.5), about 2.4 times. With the legs spread wide, the whole base takes the load of a heavy pot.

Paired with the Range ST-340 (JPY 9,790), it comes to JPY 14,190 (9,790+4,400). The ST-310's output is 2.9kW and its pot support diameter is 130mm. The stand doesn't change the output; it widens the weight you can load and where you can set it.

How the Kacom Base Stand works: legs take the weight, the shield takes the heat

The legs are 5mm high-strength stainless steel and lock in place to prevent sudden collapse. With the heat shield fitted, less heat reaches the table, and its raised sides also act as a windscreen.

The ST-310's or ST-340's pot supports sit in the middle of the heat shield, so the pot's weight doesn't lean to one side. To pack it, the folded stand sits on top of the heat shield as one piece, so parts are hard to lose.

When you spend more than half the year camping, a single burner is the flame you use every day. So before replacing the stove, I swap the base first to widen what pots it can take.

The weak points

At 830g, it doesn't fit the idea of carrying a light ST-310. A 12-inch stainless Dutch oven is limited to 2L of liquid; you can't fill it.

More uses with the Kacom series

On the same May 1, a grill plate (JPY 6,930), an oden pot (JPY 7,700), a Genghis Khan grill pan (JPY 4,400) and a takoyaki plate (JPY 4,400) also came out under the Kacom name. With this stand, the grill plate lets you do yakiniku on the ST-310 or ST-340, with water in the base to cut smoke and spattering oil.

The grill plate is 730g (250g plate + 480g base), with a recommended 400mL of water. Plate and water come to about 1.1kg (730+400), about a tenth of the 10kg load capacity. With the ST-310 and stand, the total price is JPY 18,810 (11,880+6,930).

On July 17 the Kacom Smoker, which also smokes food on this stand, came out too. It also works with separately sold options like the GORA OVEN and GRID Grill S.

Who the Kacom Base Stand suits

It suits people who own an ST-310 or ST-340 and want one burner to handle everything up to a Dutch oven or griddle. For JPY 4,400 it doubles the load capacity and takes table heat off your mind, a new release that makes you want to keep using the stove you have.

If lightness comes first, you can carry the ST-310 on its own. I cover other single burners in the single burner rankings.
