The Air Magic that pitches in 7 minutes packs to 164L
It is a 2-room tent that stands on air. In a notice of Aug 13, 2026, LOGOS announced that 2027 models, including this one (1 tent), would go on sale on Thursday, Aug 27, and you can already buy it.
It is worth buying for families with room in the cargo area. For families who camp mostly in rainy seasons, or who have a car with a small cargo area, there are other ways to choose.
How I judged it
Sleeping in a tent more than half the year, you pitch and strike dozens of times a year, so what I looked at first was not the about 7-minute setup but the packed size of about 82 × 50 × 40cm. Multiplied as a box, it is 164L.
It weighs about 16.5kg, 3.5kg lighter than the pole-based Coleman MDX+. What I weighed was the fly's waterproof rating of 1,600mm. Even so, I recommend it to families who can pay JPY 165,000 for light weight and short setup.

The bedroom floor is 270cm square, so 4 sleeping gives 67.5cm each (270 ÷ 4), 2.5cm short of my guide of 70cm. No capacity is listed, and the bedroom is promoted as "roomy even for 4 adults."

It does not stand on air alone
The frame is of three kinds. In the manual's parts list, there are 3 air tubes, 2 panel frames of 7001 aluminum and 1 fiberglass ridge frame.
The air tubes come with cautions poles do not have. The proper pressure is 8–9psi, and the included pump has a pressure gauge, but LOGOS writes that overinflating on a midsummer day above 30 degrees may make the air inside expand with heat and burst.

What I like
Weight: about 16.5kg is a light figure for a 2-room tent. Divided by the pitched size, it is 0.78kg per m² (16.5 ÷ 21.08m²), lighter than the MDX+'s 1.05kg by the same formula. A mud skirt also runs all the way around. The two air-pitched tents in our article on 2026 new tents are about 18.2kg and about 24kg, and this one comes out lighter than those.
The weak points
- Fly waterproof rating of 1,600mm. The two tents I compared are both 3,000mm above the bedroom. How the number is measured and its guide values are in our article on tent waterproof ratings. If you camp mostly in the rainy season or autumn rains, this is where you rule it out.
- Packed size 164L. It is light but large cargo. The 50 × 40cm cross-section takes more of the cargo area than the longest side of 82cm.

Coleman MDX+: a pole type. A 2-room tent pitched with aluminum alloy poles. It is JPY 55,220 lower and packs to about 40% of the LOGOS, with a 300 × 250cm bedroom, which for 4 people is 75cm each. If you can accept the 3.5kg of weight and the pitching effort, the MDX+ is enough.

How do I pitch it on a windy day?
The manual's cautions are three: do not pitch or strike in heavy rain or strong wind, face the entrance downwind, and fix it to the ground with pegs. It also says the panel surface can sag inward in strong wind.
Can I use a stove inside the tent?
No. The fabric meets the CPAI-84 flame-retardant standard, but LOGOS prohibits open flame in and near the tent, and the manual cites the risk of fire and carbon monoxide poisoning.
