The Hilander X-FRAME COMPACT CHAIR HIGH (HCP-017) is not on sale yet. The official store shows "sales start Oct 16," the stock field says "delivery planned late October," and the price is JPY 10,900 incl. tax.
The answer is set by table height. If you eat at 60–70cm, buy it. If you mostly use a low table of 37–39cm and a fire, the existing low type (seat about 41.5cm) is enough.
How I judged it
The first thing I looked at was the seat. About 51cm, a gap of 51 − 41.5 = 9.5cm to the low type. The price rises JPY 2,920 and weight 0.34kg, so per 1cm of seat that is about JPY 307 and about 36g (2,920 ÷ 9.5, 340 ÷ 9.5).
What I weighed was packed size. Volume is about 1.57 times. Even so, I recommend it to people who use a high table because the load capacity stays at about 150kg and the 9.5cm goes straight into the gap to the table top.

In our ranking of camp tables, I matched heights of 60–70cm to the Sunset Chair's 45cm seat, a gap of 15–25cm. Paired with the TABLE HIGH released the same day, the gap is 12cm, 3cm smaller than that range.
This part is so-so. A table that can go to 70cm (a 19cm gap) fits the numbers in my earlier articles better than matching by series. Reading the 150kg load capacity, and what to watch
The official load capacity is "about 150kg (static load)," based on a still state. It adds that sitting down with momentum shortens the product's life.
The frame is strong. It is A7075 high-strength aluminum alloy, and the Japan Aluminium Association describes the 7000 series as a line that includes "the alloys with the highest strength." The table released the same day is A6061.
Load capacity divided by weight is about 107 times (150 ÷ 1.4), a little above the Sunset Chair's 98.6 times in the 12-chair table.
There are two things to watch. The first is fire. You would sit 28cm above the top edge of a fire pit about 23cm high (51 − 23). The second is wind. The body is very light, so do not use it outdoors in strong wind, and fix it with pegs or rope when you leave your seat.
In short: it is a chair for people who eat at a table 60–70cm high.
