The Snow Peak Noga Table is a low table worth buying if you carry by car and want one table to serve as both dining table and shelf. The deciding point is that it folds to 4.5cm thick and the top grows to about double. Released Oct 3, 2026 at JPY 33,000 incl. tax, it is a dependable pick for use by car.
The Gear Nerd's Pick
The top is aluminum, but the joints supporting it are resin. So heat from a hot pot travels through the board to the resin, and the instruction manual forbids placing it directly. I buy this table not as a place for a pot but as a tool where a dining table and a shelf come out of a 4.5cm-thick board.
Key points
- The top grows about 2.0 times, from 54.3 × 24.5cm to 54.3 × 49.6cm. The added 25.1cm of width is the 2 included extension tops
- Packed volume is about 6.0 liters, close to the Table One Hard Top's about 5.2 liters. What differs is the shape: the Noga is a 4.5cm-thick board, the Table One a 10cm-diameter tube
- The 50kg load capacity is written only in the instruction manual, with the shelf board limited to 5kg and hanging items to 0.5kg total. Weight disagrees: 2.1kg on the product page and 2kg in the manual

The Noga Table's "heat-resistant top" cannot take a hot pot directly
The Snow Peak Noga Table (LV-500) is a JPY 33,000 incl. tax low table released Oct 3, 2026. The product page headline is "aluminum top resistant to heat and dirt." Yet the instruction manual warns against placing a heated Dutch oven or pot directly on the top.
It is for people who carry by car and want one table to serve as dining table and shelf. For hot pots, put a trivet between; and if you carry on your back, a light stand is another way to choose.
How I judged it
The first thing I looked at was the folded thickness of 4.5cm. Camping more than half the year, a table spends longer stacked in the cargo area than in use, so I read the folded form before the size.
Next I lined it up against the Helinox Table One Hard Top, the co-developer's table, and looked at what +JPY 13,200 and +1,284g buys. What I weighed was that it cannot take a pot directly. Still, I recommend it because a top that grows to about double and the same board doubling as a shelf is something the table I compared against does not have.

Noga Table release date, size, weight, load capacity
| Item | Noga Table (LV-500) |
|---|---|
| Official price (incl. tax) | JPY 33,000 |
| Release date | Oct 3, 2026 |
| Size (max) | 54.3 × 49.6 × 40cm high |
| Size (min) | 54.3 × 24.5 × 40cm high |
| Packed | 54.3 × 24.5 × 4.5cm thick |
| Weight | 2.1kg (manual says 2kg) |
| Load capacity | 50kg (manual) |
| Shelf / hanging items | Shelf up to 5kg; hanging items 0.5kg total |
| Material | Aluminum alloy (anodized), resin |
| What is included | Body, 2 extension tops, 2 support bars, carry bag |
The gap is large. The top area is 54.3 × 24.5 = about 1,330cm² at minimum and 54.3 × 49.6 = about 2,693cm² at maximum, about 2.0 times. The added width is 49.6 − 24.5 = 25.1cm, which is the 2 extension tops.
A height of 40cm puts the top 5cm above a 35cm-seat chair. The height lineup against the other 6 makers' tables is in our ranking of 7 tables.
What is weak to heat is the joints, not the board
The instruction manual gives 3 reasons for forbidding pots: the top may discolor, heat may reach the resin parts and melt them, and anything that slips off could burn you.
The manual also asks you not to build a fire directly on the top and to keep it away from heat sources such as bonfires and combustion appliances, and recommends a burner sheet when placing heating appliances. For people who want to set a pot straight down, the UNIFLAME fire pit table fits better.
The weak points
Point 1 is weight and price. 2.1kg is about 2.6 times the Table One Hard Top's 816g (2,100 ÷ 816), and JPY 33,000 is about 1.7 times (33,000 ÷ 19,800). It is not a weight to carry on foot.
Point 2 is the shelf. You cannot use the shelf and the wide top at the same time. The shelf board is the 2 extension tops joined, so as a shelf the top goes back to 24.5cm deep. And the shelf board takes only up to 5kg, one tenth of the 50kg overall.
Weight disagrees within the official materials, 2.1kg on the product page and 2kg in the instruction manual, so this article calculates with the product page's 2.1kg.
How it differs from the Table One Hard Top
| Item | Noga Table | Table One Hard Top |
|---|---|---|
| Official price | JPY 33,000 | JPY 19,800 |
| Top | 54.3×24.5–49.6cm | 59×40cm |
| Height | 40cm | 38cm |
| Weight | 2.1kg | 816g |
| Packed | 54.3×24.5×4.5cm | 41.5×12.5×10cm |
| Load capacity | 50kg | 50kg (static load) |
| Top build | Aluminum | Fabric with resin plate |
Load capacity is the same 50kg, and the Noga's manual says "a figure set on Helinox's standard." The legs are a DAC frame, which Snow Peak presents as Helinox's manufacturer.
Working out packed volume, the Noga is 54.3 × 24.5 × 4.5 = about 6.0 liters and the Table One 41.5 × 12.5 × 10 = about 5.2 liters. The bulk is close; what differs is the shape. The Noga is a board that stands in a gap in the cargo area, the Table One a tube that goes in a bag. By car, the Noga; on foot or by motorcycle, the Table One.

What else you need, and what's sold separately
Even the carry bag is in the set. If you will put a burner on it, add the burner sheet the manual recommends. The related item the official store lists is the same-named Noga Chair (JPY 22,000).
The official online store shows it out of stock, and you can sign up for a restock notice.

Who is it for?
The best fit is someone who carries by car and wants one table to serve as dining table and shelf. Folded it is 4.5cm thick, and opened the top is about double. A new model released Oct 3, and being able to do two jobs with one table is welcome.
For hot pots, put a trivet between. On foot or by motorcycle, a table under 1kg suits you; for a table for 4, a larger top suits.
